I know...it's time...

Sorry it has been so long!

Jack laughs all the time now. Everyone at church (and everywhere we go) says he is such a smiley baby. Kids think the oddest things are funny...

Sometimes naughty has a hard time sharing the changing table...

The awesome baby swings at the park.

Do you see anything wrong with this picture?

here is a close-up...

guess who won this fight.

Party Weekend

Being sick doesn't mean we can't have fun. It just means we look awful for all the pictures. Ignore Jack's watery red eyes, my lack of makeup, and Danny's red nose. Jack has croup, and Danny and I have colds (I thought that only happened in Winter???!).

Because Danny's job is so AWESOME, he had Friday through Monday off (which ended up being really good for him to get feeling better). Saturday we went to Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield. A crazy series of battle assaults happened here during the Civil War along with a famous Locomotive theft. We went to the museum in the Visitors center and then took a walk on one of the trails.

Not sure where the allegiance lies here...

Monday we went to a local park for some festivities. There were arts and crafts booths, lots of carnival food, games, cars, and live music. It was excruciatingly hot. All-in-all it was a success, just ask Jack: he got a balloon.

my dad rocks

Hi Dan,

Here is some nice news – attached are the numbers on your new salary rate effective July 1, to be included in the July 15 check. As a relatively recent new hire, you don’t qualify for a rate increase this year. However, since you’ve been doing a very impressive job, I asked for an exception to be made.

I’m sorry I couldn’t deliver the news personally as your contribution to the company deserves. Thank you for all of your work this year and I look forward to a very rewarding year to come.

Thanks,
Linda

first time is always a charm...

being born a boy, i am expected to love it.
camping. yep. the first trip at the ripe old age of 6 months.
went better then expected.

i slept both nights, enjoyed being outdoors all day, being held by so many different people, meeting great grandparents, getting sunburned, and watching so many other little kids.

here are some highlights (or rather just the pictures mom managed to take):

can you find me?

Two Weeks Notice

Since we haven't had internet for about two weeks... there have been no posts. But that doesn't mean life didn't keep going.
Thus, this is a few-words-lots-of-random-pictures post.
Enjoy.

In the new apartment. SO HAPPY!!!

Heading off to swim (a daily event).

Though we hold him most of the time in the pool, occasionally we get a few moments to swim when he sits in his lounger. Jack LOVES the pool.

Bath time in his new garden tub. Another favorite.

BUBBLES!

Jack in the box.
