Back to the Heat

After a summer in PA, a week trip in CO...back to scorching AZ.
Here are some pics.

Ellie begged to hold the snake.
(And the only picture of me in this bunch...I am always taking the picture!)
 Cute Peter. About 3.5 months.
 Peter and Dad looking dapper.
 Swingin Ellie.
 Jack loves anything Dinosaur.
On a carriage ride with Grandma at the Farmer's Market.
The day we moved back to AZ. Ellie was wiped.
 Lovin us some back yard.
(With the swing set Danny make!)
Jack making BYU Football food for dad.
Their new "rocket" Danny and I put together.
 Ice cream date with dad.

 Peter watching BYU football.
Ok...actually he just rolled over and happened to glance up in time for a good picture.

Here are some pictures.

We are doing the internship thing right now, then back to grad school in a few weeks.

Enjoy!

This is what happens when my kids dress themselves.

 Ellie and Monkey sporting it.

 Cute Peter.

Got caught playing in the fire pit.

 My little girl.

 HAIR!

Jack loves anything that has to do with coloring.

He made this lion mask. Looks more like an Aborigine war face to me.
Ellie is just glad to be on the show (Quote anyone?)

I have three kids.

Arizona: We came, we felt the heat, and we hunkered down.

Literally. We never leave the air conditioning. Try living in 106 on a regular basis. Your lungs start to collapse at about 5 minutes. The walk to Eric and Briana's is about 3. By the time I get to their front door in the middle of the day I am not knocking to see if they are there--I am banging pleading for them to open it and let me in. water...

Anyhow. Many things have happened--most of you know the gist. Life has been tough, amazingly wonderful, incredibly sad, very hot, and extremely successful. How is that possible?
Danny loves his MBA program. He is thriving, getting amazing grades, making lots of contacts, and just today got an interview for an internship that he would actually like to have for next summer. He bikes to and from school, so he is getting in a little exercise and likes the professionalism he feels in his classes. Very different from undergraduate programs.
I am sick and tired. lol. No really. Pregnant again (huzzah) and actually having morning sickness this time. Having not really ever experienced this before--I feel almost like a first time pregnant person, except I threw out "what to expect when you are expecting" long ago before I got pregnant with Ellie. Things seem to be going well, due sometime in April.
Jack is potty trained. Took about a week. He only has accidents when he gets too involved with something and doesn't quite make it. But he is doing very well--all by himself. Now if we could just get brushing teeth down... He loves reading books and will sit through a full story book being read to him. He LOVES stories. And dinosaurs, nursery, Ellie, sweets, pancakes, and Lily, Elena, Briana, Eric. Oh and he is an awesome swimmer. Still uses the little floaties, but gets around pretty quick and jumps in on occasion when we can convince him.
Speaking of teeth, Ellie is working on her 4th tooth. Way different from Jack--who had a full set of teeth at 1 (as well as a head of hair--Ellie barely has an inch off the back of her head). She walks, almost runs, climbs and has lots of bruises. She learned how to glare the other day and it is quite hilarious. We probably shouldn't encourage it--but man she is cute.
So here are some pictures. No particular order.

On Being Forgetfull

Sometimes things slide.
Like Jack at the park. Ice cream off of a cone. Getting dishes done.

Remembering that I have a blog...

Literally, I just logged on for the first time since January. Wow. Life has been insane.
Quick recap of the last 4 months, then lots of pictures with no explanations -because that takes too much time. Call if you want to know more!
After months of grueling waiting, writing, paying, interviewing, acceptances, praying, crying (well...not Danny--he doesn't cry)--we have made a final decision for Danny to attend Arizona State University in the fall for his MBA. We are VERY excited to live so close to family and are looking forward to ASU's great program (and I can't not say that I am just a LITTLE excited to play in the sun. Even if it is going to be egg-frying hot.)
Jack talks lots. Is full of energy and loves nursery.
Ellie is crawling, eating, and just self weaned (a little early)...

Here are the pictures. Enjoy.
